Information You Submit
Text entered in a search form, such as a name, telephone number, or address, is sent to the outside provider that supplies the results. We do not retain a separate copy of those searches on our servers. A message sent to us contains only what the sender chooses to provide, and we use it to answer that message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs that can include an IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps. Aggregate use helps us maintain the service and see which material visitors use. Cookies or related technology may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where those functions apply.
How Information Is Used
The limited information described above supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual visitor profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links may lead to government portals, Orange County and California offices, library collections, or third-party search tools. Each destination controls its own privacy practices. Information submitted there falls under that service's policy, including information entered through sponsored search results supplied by an outside company.
Parties That May Receive Data
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic information already described. Data may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise distribute visitor information.
Our Security Practices
An encrypted connection serves the site, and server logs are kept only as long as the stated purposes require. Since visitors do not create accounts, Orange People Search holds no user password or account profile.
Visitors Under Age 18
Orange People Search is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if a minor has sent personal information so it can be removed.
California Privacy Rights
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, may provide rights to know, correct, delete, or limit certain uses of personal information. California's Delete Act, SB 362, also created a statewide framework for deletion requests to registered data brokers. Because Orange People Search keeps little visitor data, a request usually involves checking contact messages and available server logs. Use the Contact page to submit one. Records controlled by the City of Orange, Orange County, California, or another custodian remain outside our control, so a source-record correction or removal request must go to that office.

A revised policy will be published here. Using the site after an update indicates acceptance of the revised version.
